01 / OUR PURPOSE

The sentence ends.
The need for support
doesn’t.

CCE Foundation strengthens justice-impacted individuals, families and communities through integrity, awareness, public education, practical blueprints and trusted resources while elevating lived experience and advocating for meaningful, evidence-informed change.

Based in Utah, our vision reaches communities across the state and country, including people returning from state and federal custody. We’re building a bridge between what happens inside, what happens when someone comes home, and what communities can do to create better outcomes.

THE NAME IS THE PATH

Own what happened.
Understand what is happening.
Build what comes next.

C / 01

Convictions.

Lived experience and personal accountability. Every person has a story, and every story deserves dignity.

Clarity.

Credible information, practical direction, and a next step that makes sense for the person taking it.

E / 03

Evolution.

Stability becomes contribution. Experience becomes mentorship. Community becomes leadership.

THE FIVE PILLARS

One purpose.
A shared standard.

Practical support and meaningful system change belong in the same model.

01

Stronger Together

People, families, and communities help shape the work.

Personal accountability and institutional accountability go together.

03

Awareness

Listen to lived experience and make barriers visible.

Clear information helps people ask better questions and take useful action.

05

Blueprints + Resources

02 / OUR APPROACH

Support the person.
Strengthen the community.

These are the program areas we’re developing. Each connects practical support with the bigger picture.

01

Family + Community

Belonging is the foundation.

Explore

Family support runs through every part of CCE. Start Here for Loved Ones now offers practical guides for incarceration, release preparation, and life after coming home.

  • Start Here: guides for staying connected, preparing for release, and rebuilding routines.
  • Coming Home checklist: save release preparations, first-72-hours steps, and first-month priorities in your Blueprint account.
  • Community Circles: small, facilitated peer groups in development.
  • Family Spotlight: share a milestone or lesson through CCE Voices, with your sharing choices.
  • Community Events: resource fairs, workshops, and family nights in development.

Belonging never requires someone to disclose trauma publicly.

02

The Blueprint

A plan that moves with you.

Explore

A private, updateable planning tool for where you are, what you need, who can help, what to do first, and what comes next.

  • Identification, housing, employment, and transportation.
  • Education & trades, recovery & wellness, family & community, and financial stability.
  • Family release essentials: documents, medication, supervision, phone, clothing, housing, work, transportation, and expectations.
  • Priorities, action checklists, notes, connection follow-up, and a timeline from before release to one year and beyond.

03

CCE Connect

A referral is only the beginning.

Explore

The connection pathway is Need → Match → Connect → Follow-up → Outcome. A useful referral explains what to expect and checks what happened.

  • Resource profiles: services, location, eligibility, justice-system fit, costs, documents, capacity, referral process, and last verification.
  • Follow-up outcomes: connected, waitlisted, not eligible, couldn’t reach, pending, or needs another option.
  • Failed connections reveal barriers. Patterns can inform Voices, Inside, and practical improvements.

Keep a personal connection log in your Blueprint, or send a support request to CCE for private review and follow-up. Service eligibility and openings need direct confirmation.

  • Home Starter: independent-living basics.

05

CCE Voices

Experience, documented responsibly.

Explore

A channel for lived experience to inform better questions, practical support, and meaningful change.

  • Share stories, lessons, milestones, barriers, and what helped.
  • Submit → Review → Classify → Analyze → Action.
  • Clear evidence labels: reported, corroborated, documented, and inconclusive.
  • Separate permission to contact someone from permission to use their story publicly.
  • No account or name required. Stories enter private review first.

Story submissions and owner review are open. Only edited, deidentified stories with permission can be deliberately published. A person’s experience deserves both dignity and careful review.

06

CCE Inside

See clearly. Ask better questions.

Explore

Research, accountability, and public education about institutional conditions, programs, and family experiences.

  • Pattern → Research → Input → Analysis → Findings.
  • CCE Explainers: accessible education with context.
  • Accountability Reports: methodology, findings, institutional response, and recommendations.
  • Facility Snapshots: programs, family information, concerns, positive practices, and last review.

The private report form and owner review inbox are now available. Positive practices and concerns receive the same evidence standard. Public findings and facility snapshots are still being developed.

07

CCE Advocacy

Evidence into meaningful action.

Explore

Focused advocacy connects documented problems to practical solutions and the people who can act.

  • Name the problem and understand the evidence.
  • Identify a workable solution and the relevant decision-maker.
  • Make a specific ask and follow up on the response.
  • Let community input and verified findings guide priorities.

The pathway: Problem → Evidence → Solution → Decision-maker → Ask → Follow-up.

08

CCE Evolution

Experience becomes leadership.

Explore

A long-term pathway from participant to community member, peer, mentor, navigator, advocate, and advisory leader.

  • Training in peer support, Blueprint navigation, and resource referrals.
  • Responsible storytelling, advocacy, and community leadership.
  • Integrity, clear role limits, and accountability at every step.

Peer roles complement qualified professionals. Clinical and legal work belongs with appropriately qualified providers.

09

CCE Impact

Show what changed. Learn from it.

Explore

Public reporting should connect the work to real outcomes, including what failed and what needs to improve.

  • People: Blueprints, families supported, and essentials.
  • Connections: referrals, successful connections, employment, and housing.
  • Voice + Evidence: submissions, patterns, and reports.
  • System Response: agencies engaged, responses, recommendations, pilots, and policy.
  • Learning: what worked, what failed, and what needs to change.

What we saw → What we did → What happened → What changed. Verified results will be published as the work develops; no impact totals are claimed today.

The personal Blueprint planner, family guides and Coming Home checklist, CCE Connect support requests, CCE Essentials requests, CCE Voices submissions, and CCE Inside reports are available now. Foundation services, partner capacity, box fulfillment capacity, and events are in development. Explore each area for its scope.

No name or account required. Private review first. Public stories only by permission and deliberate review.

04 / THE STANDARD

“Those closest to the problem should have a voice in changing it.”

THE BELIEF BEHIND CCE

Integrity goes both ways.

Personal responsibility and institutional accountability can exist together. Our standard is to listen carefully, document responsibly, and tell the truth even when it’s complicated.

01

Dignity, always.
A person is more than their past.

02

Families belong here.
Loved ones are part of the model.

03

Evidence before conclusions.
Experience matters. Documentation matters.
